Community Activities Lake Macquarie Inc. has a Youth Services team which supports young people across Lake Macquarie and surrounding areas.  

Youth Development Project
The Lake Macquarie Youth Development Officer promotes and advocates for the rights and needs of young people by supporting and resourcing the youth sector, community organisations and community members.  This is achieved through researching and identifying the needs of young people, agencies supporting young people and the Lake Macquarie community.

Youth Frontiers
Youth Frontiers is an in-school mentoring program for year 8 and 9 students who work collaboratively with a mentor to undertake a community project that will make a positive difference in their local community. A mentor encourages positive choices, promotes high self-esteem, supports academic achievement and introduces the young person to new ideas.

The National School Chaplaincy
CALM coordinates the National School Chaplaincy program providing welfare support at Booragul Public, Cardiff North Public, Teralba Public, West Wallsend High, Swansea High and Lake Macquarie High School.
